The newly constructed Chiephobozou Town Council Office was inaugurated by Advisor, Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Zhaleo Rio as the Special guest on December 3 at CTC Hall, Chiephobozou

Speaking as the special guest, Zhaleo Rio congratulated the Chiephobozou Town Council team for completion of beautiful Office Building with sufficient accommodation within a limited amount. He called upon the elected Councillors, ADC and Executive Officer CTC that any little revenue they are generating or ULB fund allocation should be openly discuss, deliberated during the house meetings and arrived with consensus and accountability. He encouraged the elected Councillors to work as a team and function under one umbrella for the development of the Sub- division.

He also appealed to exercise their powers and responsibility as defined in the Municipal Act judiciously. Emphasizing that Population census and E-roll were not properly enumerated in the past, he suggested and urged the ADC with EO Chiephobozou and elected councillors to take the initiative for genuine enumeration in the next Census.

Earlier, the Special Guest also unveiled the monolith. He was accompanied by Y M Humtsoe, MLA and officers from Urban and Municipal Affairs Department. Building construction report was highlighted by Chairperson Chiephobozou Town Council, Khrielelie Kerhuo. Short Speeches were also delivered by OSD to Chief Minister, Neibalie Rio, NAPO President, Keduo- O Zumu and Commissioner and Secretary, Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Kekhrievor Kevichusa respectively.

The programme was chaired by Kekhrieneinuo Zumvü, Dy. Chairperson, CTC. Welcome address was delivered by ADC Chiephobozou, Alemyapang Longchar followed by invocation by Pastor Pavi Pao, CRC Chiephobozou. Special number was presented by Viketounuo Kerhuo and a group song was presented by Chiephobozou Town Women Organisation. Vote of Thanks was delivered by CTC Councillor, Ruvuotuonuo Ruth.
