The Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) Ward-1 Youth Organisation organised a 7A Side Futsal League Championship from May 5 to June 23 at Proturf Sevens Arena, Perizie Colony Kohima. The championship was organised for the executive members with the aim to have a better mutual understanding among them.

Seven colonies under ward-1 along with Lhisemia Youth Organisation (LYO) as a guest team participated in the event.

Zienuobadze Colony won the championship while Kikha-Rüleizou came as the runners-up.

The ward-1 youth body extended its gratitude to LYO for sponsoring the prize money.

After the tournament the KMC Ward-1 Youth Organisation distributed solar CCTV to all the seven colonies for security purposes.
