The Miao/Zunheboto Battalion, Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 25 Sector Assam Rifles, HQ Inspector General Assam Rifles (North) organised a friendly volleyball match at Atoizu village in Zunheboto district on Wednesday.

In a statement, the Assam Rifles said that the match was played between the troops and local student union with the objective of strengthening the spirit of “Friends of Hill People”.

The Friendly volleyball match was well received by the locals and a total of 25 civilians witnessed it, the security forces said.

A similar match was organised between the troops and the students’ union of Akuluto village on 18 March.
