Zunheboto District Planning & Development Board hosted its monthly meeting cum Board Members picnic on Tuesday under G. Ikuto Zhimomi, Chairman DPDB & Advisor for Land Resources, DIPR has informed.

Rahul Bhanudas Mali (IAS), Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB, Zunheboto delivered the welcome address in which he commended and extended his appreciation to the Heads of Departments and its members for the successful conduct of the parliamentary Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

G. Ikuto Zhimomi, Board Chairman also thanked the HoDs, officers and government employees on behalf of the Seven Legislatures for the seamless conduct of the Lok Sabha elections through their earnest cooperation. He also emphasised on the upcoming ULB elections in the state and appealed to all the HoDs for their cooperation and support.

The meeting also discussed the agenda proposed and forwarded by ADC Satakha, M.S. Thangpong for establishment of Sub-Post office at Satakha Sub-division. The Board elaborated and agreed to forward the case to the concerned department for approval.

The meeting came to a conclusion with a briefing from the Chairman for World Environment Day which is to be observed on 5th June 2024, and requested the HoDs for their support in every possible means.

The DC of Zunheboto also distributed aids and appliances including wheel chairs, walking sticks, etc through the Assistance to Disabled Persons (ADIP) Scheme under the Ministry of Social justice & Empowerment at Zunheboto District on the 13th of May 2024.
