The Dimapur District Taekwondo Association (DDTA) is set to organize the 25th DDTA Kyorugi and 2nd Poomsae District Taekwondo Championship from June 11 to 13 at the Multi-Disciplinary Sports Complex, DC Court Junction, Dimapur.

In preparation for the championship, the office bearers and executive members of the association, led by President, Howoto Jakhalu, convened a meeting on May 17 at Oak House, Bank Colony, Dimapur. During the meeting, members unanimously resolved to ensure the successful conduct of the championship and encourage wider participation from taekwondo athletes across the district.

The association reiterated its commitment to promoting discipline, sportsmanship, and excellence through the practice of taekwondo. DDTA also extended its best wishes to all participating players and urged them to prepare diligently for the upcoming championship while upholding the true spirit of martial arts, dedication, and perseverance.

The 25th edition of the championship marks a significant milestone for the association and is expected to witness enthusiastic participation from talented athletes across various age categories.

The Dimapur District Taekwondo Association further invited sports enthusiasts, well-wishers, and the general public to come forward and support the young athletes during the championship.
