29th Chakhesang-Sümi Brotherhood to be celebrated at Pfutsero Town on 26 Nov

Dimapur: WCH makes it compulsory for office bearers of all frontal bodies to attend event

The Western Chakhesang Hoho (WCH) has announced that Chakhesang and Sümi communities will be celebrating 29 years of Brotherhood on 26th November 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Baptist Theological College Ground, Pfutsero Town, Phek. The significant event will be jointly organized by the Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) and the Sümi Hoho.

In this regard, the WCH, through a press release, appealed to all its members, the President and colleagues of all Frontal Organizations, the Chairman and Colleagues of the Chakhesang Villages and the Constituents units, the Chakhesang Gazetted Officers, Leaders, and Elders to join the celebration.

The WCH informed that the CPO has extended special invitation to the Chakhesang Community residing in Western Area and accordingly, the WCH anticipates a delegate of over 500 representatives from Western Area to participate in this important event, “reflecting our commitment to unity and collective strength.”

The Press Secretary of the Hoho, Lhikhro Kreo, has further informed that the WCH has made it mandatory for the office bearers of all frontal bodies of WCH, namely the Western Chakhesang Mothers Association (WCMA), Western Chakhesang Youth Organisation (WCYO), Western Chakhesang Students Union (WCSU), and Western Chakhesang Goan Bura’s Association (WCGBA), to attend and actively mobilize their members for this momentous gathering. Additionally, all affiliated units of WCH and Chakhesang Villages are requested to send at least Ten (10) representatives or more to ensure strong participation, it stated.
