Sonkük Laang were declared the champions of the 30th Loyem Memorial Trophy on Saturday at Astro Turf Ground, Tuensang.
The football tournament, which was organised by the Chang Wedoshi Setshang, had begun on 5 November and concluded on 19 November.
The finals played between Sonkük Laang and TVSF lived up to the expectations of both the teams providing an outstanding performance for ninety minutes straight.

Sonkük Laang won 3-0 against TVSF with the goals scored by Imlongchaba in the 52nd minute, Beshang in the 65th minute and Tingnyek in the 75th minute.

The Golden Ball was awarded to Ayenmongba of TVSF (jersey no 7), the Golden Boot went to Imlongchaba of Sonkük Laang (jersey no 30) for his outstanding scoring of 11 goals, and the Golden Glove was awarded to Kümzük of Sonkük Laang (jersey no 1).
The ceremony for the final match was graced by K OdiBendang Chang, Secretary, Central Executive Board (CEB) NDPP, as the Special Guest.

Chang urged the young players to promote oneness by taking the platform as an advantage for the purpose of spreading messages of unity to bring communities under one banner through sports.
He encouraged the spectators to cheer for their teams with discipline and said winning or losing is not important but rather the happiness originating from participating in sports is the highly cherished trophy.
The crowd thoroughly enjoyed the game with supporters cheering their teams, one spectator stated.
