The first league match of the ongoing 30th edition of Loyem Memorial Trophy 2022 at the Astro Turf Ground Tuensang kicked off on 7 November.
In the first match, Mevie FC registered an impressive win over Auyang FC scoring 3 goals to none.
In the second match, Son Kük Laang Society, Noksen Town defeated Reli & Heli FC. The score was 3-1 when the referee blew the final whistle.
On Tuesday, Evening Star FC will play against Shanen FC at 11:00 AM, while DEF Tuensang and Arising Sporting Club will take on each other at 1:30 PM.

The Astro Turf Ground was inaugurated by Chief Minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio on 5 November in an elaborate programme attended many dignitaries and galleries full of people.
Altogether, there are 12 teams competing for the trophy. The CM, in his address, had encouraged them to play with the spirit of sportsmanship, blending the qualities of discipline and skill.
