The first edition of High School Futsal Tournament organised by 35+ MFL at Mojabi Futsal turf which started on July 22 culminated on July 24. Altogether 27 teams are participated in the Tournament.
Gracing the closing ceremony, N Chuba Phom, appreciated all the young participants for taking full opportunities of the platform provided by the 35+ MFL.
He congratulated the organiser for the great initiative in nurturing young talents and appreciated their tireless efforts. He urged all the participants to take collective responsibilities whether win or lose and not to blame anyone.
He also encouraged not to indulge in age tampering and manipulation but to set a good example to the coming generations by being true to one’s identity. He also advised the young aspirants to stay away from ego, self-pride and bad attitude but to adapt humility and resilience.

The closing program was chaired by Aoluin, invocation prayer was pronounced by Wati Imsong and vote of thanks was delivered by Imcharen Lusang Secretary 35+ MFL.
Revenant FC (A) emerged as the Champion by defeating Eden School with a score line 10-1. United Boys FC won the 3rd place.
The following are the stand out individual prize winners of 1st High school Futsal Tournament:
- Langa from Revenant FC was awarded the player of the tournament.
- Imliwar of Revenant FC won the Highest Scorer Award with 11 goals.
- Nungshilong of GMS Tongdentsuyong was awarded the Best Defender.
- Metsuro of Revenant FC and Mr. Lensar of KSA was awarded the most promising young players of the tournament.
- Badal of Revenant FC won the Best Goal keeper Award.
The winner, runner up and individual prize winners of the tournament received cash prizes along with certificates and trophies.
