The Indian Army, in collaboration with the Southern Angami Sports Association (SASA) Federation, conducted the fourth edition of Dzükou Cup Football Tournament at Jakhama, Nagaland from January 30 to February 1. The event was conducted under Operation Sadbhavna to bring the local communities together and promote unity through sports.
Ten male and six female teams, comprising of players between 15 to 25 years, participated this year, representing different villages and towns across the state.
Finals were played on February 1, wherein, in the men’s category, the team from Kidima Village emerged victorious after defeating the Viswema Village team by score of 1-0. In the female category also, the team from Kidima Village defeated the team from Mima Village with a final score of 2-0.

Winners, runners-up teams and individual players were awarded. Best player in the male category was Kelengol Toso, while Khrienkono was adjudged the best female player.
Beyond the exhilarating football matches, the tournament also served as a platform for cultural exchanges and meaningful interactions between the local community and the Indian Army, further deepening their bond and fostering mutual respect, informed a press release by PRO & Spokesperson, Ministry of Defence, Manipur, Nagaland and Southern Arunachal Pradesh
