The Tangha Baptist Youth Endeavour (TBYE) organised the 4th Inter Society Swimming Competition at the Shemyung Pool, Tangha Village in Longleng district on 22nd August 2024.

Block Development Officer (BDO), District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Longleng, P. Angam Longho, graced the event as the Guest of Honour.

In his address, Longho commended the youth and students of Tangha Village for organising the unique event and encouraged them to put up such activities even in the future. He said that these events will not only strengthen the peace and harmony of the Village but it will also influence the neighbouring villages. Expressing his enthusiasm and hope of the swimming competition gaining more popularity in the near future, the Guest of Honour declared the 4th Inter Society Swimming Competition open.

P. Longjah Phom, Chairman, Tangha Village, Longleng also delivered a short speech.

Earlier, Hamphe Phom, Pastor, Tangha Baptist Church, pronounced the invocation and Lamdok, Youth Pastor, TBC, delivered the welcome address. The Old Melody Singers (OMS) presented a special song while Deacon Ongche, said the benediction.

The programme was chaired by Women Pastor, TBC, K. Chüvaù.
