90.8 Hills FM has on Monday announced a partnership with TaFMA which will enable both the organisations to promote and encourage local artists under the care of TaFMA.

The partnership brings together 90.8 Hills FM and TaFMA to collaboratively promote and encourage artists under TaFMA by playing their songs on their radio channel 90.8 MHz. With the theme ‘Hills FM presents TaFMA Thursday’, 90.8 Hills FM will play songs of artists under TaFMA every Thursday from 6:00-7:00 pm.

This new venture will focus on giving artists the needed exposure to their talents via the 90.8 Hills FM radio channel, a community-driven platform. The radio station can also help artists win the support of the community as it is easily accessible.

About 90.8 Hills FM

90.8 Hills FM is Nagaland’s first community radio station initiated by an NGO and inaugurated on 8 September 2022 with the vision ‘to be the voice of the people’. The station’s coverage areas are Dimapur, Niuland, Chümoukedima, parts of Assam, and other adjoining areas.

Community radio is a station operated, owned and driven by the communities they serve. It provides a platform for enabling individuals, groups, and communities to share experiences and become active creators and contributors to the community. 90.8 Hills FM produces content that is relevant to the community but also touches on issues pertinent globally regardless of the demographic environment.
