Ao Students’ Conference condoles demise of Dr Kiremwati

The Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Dr. Kiremwati, a pioneering educationist and administrator from Nagaland.

In a condolence message issued today from the office, the Ao Students’ Conference stated that Dr

Kiremwati was the first Naga to earn an MSc. in Geology, the first Director of Higher and Technical

Education, Nagaland, and the first Naga Pro-Vice Chancellor of North Eastern Hills University (NEHU).

The Conference described Dr Kiremwati as a distinguished leader who dedicated his life to the service of the Naga people through education and community development. It noted his contributions to the education sector, stating that his tireless efforts and commitment left a lasting impact on the State.

The Ao Students’ Conference further conveyed that the passing of Dr. Kiremwati is a great loss to society, remembering him as a humble, hardworking and visionary leader who upheld rare and exceptional qualities.
