A meeting was held on February 14 at the ADC’s Office Chamber, Mokokchung in connection with the final publication of Electoral Roll for 28 Assembly Constituency (AC) Koridang, pursuant to the ongoing Special Summary Revision (SSR) 2026 with reference to the qualifying date 01.01.2026 and in view of the forthcoming bye-election to 28 AC Koridang.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner & Electoral Registration Officer, representatives of recognized political parties and election branch officials. The Chair informed the house that the list of amendments to the Final Publication of the Electoral Roll for 28 AC Koridang had been duly prepared in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960, and the Final Electoral Roll, along with the list of amendments had been officially published and made available for public inspection. It was formally declared that the Final Publication of the Electoral Roll was carried out on February 14.
During the meeting, the Final Electoral Roll was officially released and made available to all stakeholders. Copies of the Electoral Roll in hard copy as well as soft copy (without photographs) were handed over to the representatives of the political parties for their reference, record and necessary action.
The chair also requested the political parties to appoint Booth Level Agents (BLA) at the polling station level for effective coordination and smooth conduct of the electoral process, and further sought the cooperation of all stakeholders for the successful, peaceful and transparent conduct of the forthcoming bye-election to 28 AC Koridang.

The representatives of the political parties acknowledged receipt of the rolls and assured their cooperation. The administration reiterated its commitment to ensuring a free, fair, transparent and inclusive electoral process. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to all present for their cooperation and participation.
The final electoral rolls w.r.t 01.01.2026 as the qualifying date have been published on February 14, 2026 in respect of 28-Koridang AC under Mokokchung district by the Electoral Registration Officer where bye-election is due.
