Nagaland Wushu Association convenes emergency GBM

The Nagaland Wushu Association (NWA) has convened an emergency General Body Meeting (GBM) to deliberate on preparations for the Wushu competition in the upcoming Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2026.

According to a notification issued on March 10, the meeting will be held on March 17 at 11:00 AM at the office of the Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) in Kohima.

The GBM has been convened with the approval of the NWA president Kudecho Khamo who is also MLA and Advisor of CAWD and Taxes, Government and the meeting will focus on discussions related to the organisation and conduct of the Wushu competition during the upcoming state-level games, which are scheduled to begin from April 7, 2026.

In this regard, all affiliated unit presidents and general secretaries have been requested to attend the meeting. In case they are unable to be present, they may depute another official with technical knowledge of Wushu and familiarity with the functioning of the association to participate in the meeting.

The association has urged all concerned officials to attend the meeting without fail to ensure smooth preparation and coordination for the Wushu events at the forthcoming games.
