The Election General Observer for the forthcoming Bye Election to 28 Koridang Assembly Constituency, Mokokchung district, Dr. Neeraj Shukla, IAS had a meeting with the District Administrative Officer, Returning Officer, Asst Returning Officer, Sector Magistrates, Sector Commanders, Police Officials, Magistrates of all Flying Squad Team, Asst Expenditure Observer & Accounting Team, Control Room Nodal Officer, Media Monitoring Team, Video Surveillance Team and Video Viewing Team at the Conference Hall, Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Mokokchung on March 19.

During the meeting, the General Observer reviewed the overall scenario and the preparations for the forthcoming Bye Election. While the Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Mokokchung, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS gave a brief description of electioneering machinery set up in the district for smooth conduct of the Election. Later, Sr. SP, Vesupra Kezo (NPS) also briefed the Observer on the security set up for the election in the district.
