Deputy Commissioner Niuland, Sara S Jamir along with the members of the District Planning & Development Board paid a field inspection to Aghunaqa circle on March 24.

The purpose of the visit was to inspect the actual implementation of departmental works in the field, engage with local stakeholders at the grassroots level and an initiative to bring the government offices at the doorstep of the people living in Aghunaqa area.

The team visited PM Shri Government High school (GHS) Pihekhu and Govt. High School Aghunaqa and held interaction with the students, teacher/Staff and village Authorities.

DC in her short speech at PM Shri Government High School, Pihekhu urged the teachers to be dedicated and sincere in their duties and produce good results.

The team also visited Jal Jeevan Mission Scheme at Nizheto village, Solid Waste Management Unit at Aghunaqa and inspection of work undertaking by RD department at Pihekhu village.

The DPDB members also held meeting with the Civil Societies and NGOs at Hukhai Village (Aghunaqa). During the visit, various DPDB members held an insightful interaction with the village Leaders in regards to their respective departmental scheme and projects that are being implementing in their villages.
