A health camp under the Nature SBI Sanjeevani Clinic on Wheels project was held on March 24 at Tethuyo Village Public Ground.
In his welcome address, Tethsolen, Chairman of Tethuyo Village Council, welcomed the team from Nature SBI Foundation Nagaland and thanked them for choosing the village to conduct the health camp. Longtili C. Sangtam, Project Lead of Nature SBI Foundation, provided a brief introduction on the SBI Sanjeevani, Clinic on Wheels initiative which is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme by SBI Foundation.
The project provides free primary healthcare services through mobile medical vans in remote and rural areas. These services include doctor consultations, basic laboratory tests such as malaria, typhoid, diabetes, and hemoglobin, as well as free medicines.

The main aim of the project is to improve healthcare access in remote areas and reduce inequality in health services. Sangtam shared that each mobile unit has a team of medical professionals, including a doctor, nurse, lab technician, pharmacist, and driver. Special health camps and awareness programmes on hygiene are also conducted under this initiative. A specialist health camp was also organised with three doctors: Dr. Thritingla Sangtam (Gynecologist), Dr. Zioba T. Sangtam (Dental Surgeon), and Dr. Lillio (General OPD), who provided medical services to the people.
The Project Lead expressed gratitude to ATSIKEH Trust, Tethuyo United Club, and the three participating villages for their support and cooperation. The programme was chaired by Alomong, President of Tethuyo United Club and began with an invocation prayer by Longtsaba, Pastor of Tethuyo Village Baptist Lithro. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Intsochu, Chairman of Sanphure Village Council, who thanked the organising team on behalf of the three villages for bringing the health camp to the area. A benediction prayer was pronounced by Tetsangmong, Chaplain of Tsungmülung Village Baptist Fellowship.
