Chumoukedima delivered a dominant performance to defeat Dimapur by 6 wickets and clinch the Senior Men’s Inter District Tournament 2026 title. A clinical bowling display followed by a composed chase ensured a convincing finish in the final.
Batting first after being put in to bat, Dimapur were bowled out for 80 in 25.1 overs, struggling against a disciplined Chumoukedima bowling attack.
Shamphri Terang top-scored with 26 off 34 balls, but the batting lineup failed to build momentum.
Chumoukedima’s bowlers dominated proceedings, led by Neizekho Rupreo, who returned impressive figures of 4/16 in 7.1 overs, earning him the Player of the Match award. He was well supported by Imliwati (3/15) and Ravi Kumar Ram (2/36).
In reply, Chumoukedima chased down the target comfortably, reaching 85/4 in 17.1 overs.
Jonathan Rongsen scored a quick 27 off 21 balls, while Aloto Sumi (23 off 19) contributed to a steady chase, ensuring there were no major setbacks.
For Dimapur, Hopongkyu Sangtam (2/23) and Sundram Gupta (2/12) picked up wickets, but the total proved insufficient to defend.
