Good Shepherd High School, Kiphire started its 23rd Annual Sports Day on April 30.

Speaking at the inaugural day, Head Master of the school, TV Thomas said it is not only about strength and speed, but also about unity, hard work, and school spirit.

The torch was lit by the Headmaster, in the presence of Longtili C, President of the Alumni Association.

The Headmaster encouraged all students to take part actively and stay positive. He encouraged the students to give their best and become better through discipline and effort. He also thanked the staff, students, and alumni for their support.

Longtili C said that discipline is very important in life. He encouraged students to believe in teamwork and work together. He reminded them that “sports help us understand who we really are”.

He also spoke about growing together and supporting each other. Students were encouraged to cooperate with their teams and enjoy the activities.
