Ura Academy would organize its 56th Annual Seminar from May 27 to 29 at its headquarters at Mission Compound, Kohima, on the theme “U Dieu Cha Kedze”(Paving Language Progression).
According to the organisers, the three-day seminar would feature literary discussions, cultural deliberations, conclaves and award presentations involving various Tenyimi organisations and scholars.
The seminar would begin on May 27 with a seminar involving Literature Boards of Tenyimia communities at 10 am chaired by Kikruneinuo Liezietsu, Joint Secretary, Ura Academy.
The main inaugural programme would commence at 4 p.m. under the chairmanship of Kereivilie Kire, Secretary General of Ura Academy. The welcome address would be delivered by Thinuokhrienuo Tseikhanuo, Krütapfü, Women Welfare Division, Ura Academy, while exhortation will be delivered by Pheluopfhelie Kesiezie, Treasurer, Ura Academy. Representative from the Tenyimi People’s Organization (TPO), the honoured guest for the seminar, would also address the gathering.

On May 28, the Ura Academy Rüpfhünuo programme would be held from 10 a.m. under the chairmanship of Dr Rü-ünguso Kuotsu, President, Ura Academy Rüpfhünuo. Speakers for the session include Keneilesa Neikha, General Secretary of Angami Public Organization; Neisevituo Sorhie; Neithono R Sothu, President of Angami Women Organisation; Meguo-o Mechülho of Ura Academy; Dr. Khrüvolü Keyho, Assistant Professor at Nagaland University and Vimedo Keyho, Assistant Professor at Kohima Science College.
The concluding day on May 29 would feature the Tenyidie Kephrünuoko Krotho (TKK) conclave beginning at 9 am. During the programme, HSLC and HSSLC Tenyidie subject toppers, HSSLC Music topper and B.A. Tenyidie topper awards will be presented to meritorious students. Various literary competitions will also be conducted.
The annual seminar would conclude with a valedictory function at 4 pm, where Kekhwengulo Lea, President of Tenyimi Union Nagaland, will exhort the gathering, while Daso Paphino, Vice President, Ura Academy, will also address the programme.
