Several leaders join BJP in Tamlu

A mass joining programme was held at Tamlu Assembly Constituency, Longleng district, on May 27 where several prominent leaders and their supporters formally joined the BJP.

Among those inducted into the party were P Chingan, former President of the Phom Peoples Council and former President of the Longleng District Congress Committee and H Nyamli Phom, former Parliamentary Secretary, along with their supporters.

The programme was attended by representatives from various villages across the constituency, reflecting the growing confidence of the people in the leadership and vision of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

The event was graced by BJP Nagaland State President, Benjamin Yepthomi, who warmly welcomed the new members into the party fold. In his address, he emphasized the importance of strengthening the organization at the grassroots level and expressed confidence that the experience and commitment of the new entrants would further contribute to the growth of the party in the district.

Addressing the gathering, AT Angwan, Angh of Tamlu Village and Y Longtang, Chairman of Tamlu village, spoke on the need for unity, development, and collective efforts for the progress of society. They also appreciated the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and expressed support for the vision of inclusive development.

Senior leaders from BJP Longleng District, along with State officials of BJP Nagaland, were present at the programme.

The programme concluded on a positive note with a collective resolve to work together for the progress, unity, and prosperity of the State and the nation.
