Deputy Commissioner, Kohima has informed the general public that the Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO), a Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, would conduct Assessment and Distribution Camps under the Assistance to Disabled Persons (ADIP) Scheme and the Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana (RVY) Scheme for needy Divyangjan (Persons with Disabilities) and senior citizens aged 60 years and above in various sub-divisions of Kohima district.
According to the notice, the camps would be held on July 1 at Council Hall, Sechu Zubza; July 2 at District Social Welfare Conference Hall, Kohima; July 3 at CDPO Office, Chiephobozou; July 4 at District Social Welfare Conference Hall, Kohima and July 6 at CDPO Office, Jakhama.

Eligible beneficiaries have been requested to attend the camps and bring the following required documents.
For the ADIP Scheme, beneficiaries must produce a UDID Card (mandatory) or UDID enrolment number along with a Medical Disability Certificate indicating 40 per cent disability or above, Aadhaar Card, Income Certificate issued by the District Administration showing a monthly income not exceeding Rs. 22,500 or ration card, and two passport-size photographs.
For the RVY Scheme, beneficiaries aged 60 years and above are required to produce an Aadhaar Card, Income Certificate issued by the District Administration showing a monthly income not exceeding Rs. 15,000 or BPL ration card/proof of receiving pension, and two passport-size photographs.
