Dimapur24x7 Foundation observes National Immunization Day

Dimapur24x7 Foundation, in association with Dimapur District Hospital, successfully observed National Immunization Day 2026 (National Pulse Polio Day) on, June 28 by administering polio drops to children aged 0–5 years at designated booths in Dimapur.

The immunization drive was conducted under the leadership of the Chairperson of Dimapur24/7,  Annie Jain, at New Market and Eros Lane Assam Bus Stand, where volunteers and healthcare personnel worked together to ensure that every eligible child received the life-saving polio vaccine.

The programme witnessed a positive response from the public.

While some parents and guardians were initially reluctant to administer the polio drops to their children, the team patiently interacted with them, addressed their concerns, and successfully convinced them about the importance and safety of immunization.

Dimapur24x7 Foundation expressed its gratitude to the staff of Dimapur District Hospital, volunteers, parents, and all those who supported the initiative. The Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to supporting public health awareness and community welfare programmes in the district.
