The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the Electoral Roll in Nagaland with October 1, 2026 as the qualifying date is currently underway, the Office of the Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Kiphire has informed.

As part of Phase-III of the revision process, SIR Help Desks have been established in all District Election Offices across the state. The desks are staffed with dedicated personnel and helpline numbers to assist the public. Citizens can also call the toll-free helpline 1950 for information. The Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland has also conducted training and capacity-building programmes for District Election Officers, EROs, AEROs, BLOs, and political party representatives to ensure smooth implementation. Regular review meetings and monitoring will continue at all level to ensure effective and timely completion of the revision process.
