Minister for Housing and Mechanical Engineering, Public Works Department, P BashangMongba Chang visited landslides affected areas at National Highway 202 near IOC Petrol Pump on August 12.

During his visit he thanked and appreciated the District Disaster Management Authority Tuensang for their timely intervention and evacuation of the families of the affected areas which saves the loss of life in the district. He also described it as an unfortunate incident and conveyed his sympathy to the affected families.

The Minister was accompanied by the District Administration, DDMA Tuensang, HoDs from line Departments and Party Workers.

Earlier in the morning, the Minister flagged off the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Bike rally from Parade Ground, Tuensang.
