Labour Department, Nagaland has proposed to institute and distribute State Safety Awards 2027 to recognise and encourage excellence in Occupational Safety, Health and Well-being and to promote a strong safety culture across workplaces in the State.

Applications/nominations are being invited from factories, construction establishments, MSMEs and other Industrial Units operating in Nagaland for recognition of exemplary safety practices, effective accident-prevention measures and sustained commitment to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH).

The awards aim to acknowledge organisations contributing to safer and healthier workplaces and to encourage continuous improvement in safety management systems.

The Department has also informed that eligible establishments and organisations can obtain details regarding eligibility, award categories, guidelines and the application format from the official website of the Department: labour.nagaland.gov.in
