The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power, Government of India, is organising the School, State and National Level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation 2026.
The State-Level Competition in Nagaland would be conducted in two groups: Group A – Classes V, VI and VII, and Group B – Classes VIII, IX and X. The topics of the competition will be “Save Energy at School and Home” and “Energy Conservation is the Key to Energy Security.”
Schools are required to conduct the competition and select the top two paintings from each group for submission to the State Nodal Officer by October 27 along with the required details of the participating students.
The State-Level painting competition, with 50 selected students from each group, would be held between November 14 and 21. The top three winners from each group would qualify for the National-Level Competition scheduled for December 11, 2026.

The State-Level prizes include Rs. 50,000 for First Prize, Rs. 30,000 for Second Prize, Rs. 20,000 for Third Prize and ten Appreciation Prizes of Rs. 7,500 each in each group.
At the National Level, prizes include Rs. 1 lakh, Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 30,000 for the first, second and third positions respectively, along with laptops and medals. Appreciation prizes of Rs. 15,000 with tablets will also be awarded.
