In observance of World Suicide Prevention Day, the Carl Rogers Institute of Mental Health and Research Centre (CRIMHRC), in collaboration with the National Mental Health Program, conducted an awareness session at Sazolie College, Kohima, centered on the theme “Changing the Narrative: Start the Conversation.”

The event highlighted that suicide is both treatable and preventable, emphasizing that saving lives requires a shared responsibility—from individuals regularly checking in on loved ones to communities building compassionate, safe spaces.
