The Office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Pughoboto, has informed the public that the ‘A’ Company, 8th Nagaland Armed Police (NAP) Camp, Pughoboto, will conduct its Annual Classification Firing at the Outdoor Stadium, Pughoboto, on October 22 and 23.

In a circular issued by the ADC, all neighbouring villages and members of the public residing in and around the vicinity of the firing area have been advised not to enter or pass through the designated firing area on the scheduled dates as a precautionary measure.

The Company Commander of the 8th NAP, Pughoboto, has been directed to put up public notices and warning signboards at junctions leading to the venue, to alert the public and prevent entry into the stadium during the firing exercise.

The Village Councils of Natsumi, Pughoboto and Mishilimi have also been requested to issue necessary cautions to their respective villagers to ensure public safety during the scheduled exercise.

The public has been urged to strictly adhere to the advisory and cooperate with the authorities to avoid any untoward incidents.
