Speaking on the challenges faced in the implementation of the scheme, KG Kenye highlighted technical issues like malfunctioning of devices leading to delays and complaints, and slow adoption rates due to initial societal resistance in adoption of new technology. He then assured the Department’s commitment to addressing these challenges and working towards achieving the subscription targets.

Emphasising the importance of public awareness and confidence in the scheme, the official expressed optimism that participation would increase as more successful installations and benefits become evident. The department remains committed to expanding outreach and encouraging more households to adopt rooftop solar power.
