The monthly Sub-Divisional Planning & Development Board meeting of Tobu was held under the chairmanship of MLA & Chaiman SDPDB, Tobu, A. Nyamnyei Konyak at EBRC hall, Tobu on October 15. The chairman welcomed the members present and review the previous meeting minutes.

While deliberating on the agendas of the day, the members discussed and forwarded the following proposals to the concerned department for further necessary action.

Immediate installation of Sub-treasury at Tobu town, and the proposal for construction of retaining wall at Tobu town was recommended. The house also recommended the application for grand-in-aid, in-respect of Baptist English School, Wangshi Village.

The proposal for construction of Circular Road (5 KM stretch) at SDO (c), Headquarter, Angjangyang and construction of staff quarter at Sub-centre, Yei Village was also recommended.

The officials from the department of Veterinary, Forest and the Social Welfare presented their schemes and projects presently implemented under their respective departments in the sub-division during the meeting.

The meeting was attended by the Head GBs and Village Council Chairmen from Mopong circle, Monyakshu and Tobu Sub-divisions, the President of KU branch Tobu and Mopong, the President of KNSK unit Tobu and TASU, Ward Chairman of Tobu town, besides Government officials and SDPDB members.
