The newly recognised Nchangram Namsan village under Tening Sub-division, Peren, was officially inaugurated by Advisor for Water Resources, Namri Nchang, on 11 January, according to a DIPR report.

Speaking at the inaugural programme, the Advisor congratulated Nchangram villagers and urged them to stand unitedly and work together for the welfare of the village.

He also encouraged the gathering to march together for progress be it in the social or economic field and called on the citizens of Nchangram Namsan to extend support and cooperation to the government to achieve further development in the future.

A short speech was also delivered by Nsong EAC, Yimkum I Ozukum.

Earlier, the special guest, upon his arrival, unveiled the monolith and a dedicatory prayer was pronounced by NBP Pastor Kamruangwi.

The programme was chaired by Namlan, the acting chairman of Nchangram Namsan, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Winbiaklu, council chairman of Nchangram village.
