The monthly meeting of the District Planning & Development Boards (DPDB) was held on Monday at the DC Conference Hall, Chümoukedima, a DIPR report stated. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB, Abhinav Shivam, IAS.

During the meeting, the board approved the registration of society for Sarvajanik Shiv Mandir, 5th Mile Unity Village (Sugar Mill), Chumoukedima, and the renewal of the NEZCC Society.

The board also approved the upgradation of schools of Shemrock School from primary to Elementary Level, Diphupar, 4th Mile, near Central Jail and Dove Cot School, Seithekema Basa.

In the next meeting, the house has decided to discuss and approve the recognition of Vihoshe Village under the Dhansiripar Sub-division of Chumoukedima.

The report also stated that at the meeting, the Elder Line Nagaland (National Helpline for senior Citizens) gave a power presentation, where they highlighted their vision, mission, operation, and services.

The State helpline operates a call centre which is operational from Monday to Sunday (8 am to 8 pm), Elder Line -Toll-Free No.14567. The elder line Nagaland will further give a presentation on legal issues as per informed by the DC in the next DPDB meeting, it was reported.

Further, DC informed the members to contribute in the next DPDB meeting, as agreed in the last DPDB meeting to support and encourage one TB patient to complete their treatment and for Government to achieve the target of TB elimination by the year 2025.
