In compliance to the KDCA /EXE-M-7/2023, dated May 19, 2023, the KDCA Executive Search Committee 2023 submitted its report to the Kohima District Cricket Association on the 1 June 2023. The committee, led by Keviselhou as convenor and Sashi Ao, R Imchen and Chumbemo Patton, as members, recommended the following and upon approval of the registered clubs, as in KDCA/EXE-M-5/2022 dated December 19, 2022, were inducted as executives of the Kohima District Cricket Association for the tenure 2023-2024.

KDCA General Secretary Keneilhouzo Sekhose in a release stated that, in compliance to the circular made earlier, the handing-taking over program was held at the Guardian Hotel on 2 June 2023.
Diethonguzo Miachieo, the outgoing president welcomed the members of the registered clubs and the invitees. He stressed on the level of professionalism that had developed in the players and support staff, and that the governance of the game now demands a professional approach. He iterated that the focus should be at active physically fit players and the young talents. “The senior players who had passed their prime can get trained in cricket professional courses and stay in the system to make an impact,” he said.
Keviselhou, Convenor of the KDCA Executive Search Committee 2023 after introducing the new KDCA executive team also stressed on the importance of girls and junior age group cricket. Professional in the management of cricket was also reiterated.
Mengu Sakhrie, the newly inducted president of KDCA, spoke on behalf of the new executives. He pledged that the new team shall ensure that the game develops under their stewardship and that the team shall strive to make into reality the aspirations of those who held the KDCA during the past. He said all stakeholders shall be taken into confidence and nothing but the love of the game cricket and with clear conscience shall motivate them to achieve what they had set out for.
Dharam Singh, the outgoing treasurer, pronounced the vote of thanks. He expressed the outgoing executives’ gratitude to the Nagaland Cricket Association, the coaches and physical trainers and to all the players who had been cooperative.
The handing-taking over program ended with an induction prayer by Cassius Solo, Associate Pastor, Baptist Revival Church, Kohima Village.
