The Office of the Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industry has condemned the rise of physical abuse and harassment meted out upon its trading community. Mentioning that there has been an increase in complaints and grievances, K.C.C.I said that it will tolerate such acts in the future and assured of actions against any miscreants.
In its press release, the union also denounced the vandalism at the All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA HQs Kohima) and also inflicting trauma and threat upon the life of its General Secretary at gunpoint.
K.C.C.I stated, “this type of crime should be thoroughly investigated and all out efforts should be made to book the perpetrators.” It further urged the concerned authority and the law enforcing agency to book the culprits at the earliest.
