The officials of Changsao Thangjam Setshang (CTS) led by its President C Asenla Chang visited District Hospital Tuensang, on 24 July 2023, to check any anomalies of the staffs and the hospital.
In a press release, the Chang women organisation extended its gratitude to the staffs of District Hospital Tuensang for their efforts in keeping the hospital at par with the other hospitals in the state.
However, CTS also informed that during the routine checkup, it has found out that there is an urgent need of an Anaesthetist, Orthopedic, Surgeon and Paediatrician at the District Hospital Tuensang. It has therefore made a request to the concerned department to depute or appoint the vacant post at the earliest.
The organisation stated that it would be forced to use its constitutional rights to enforce its course of action if the department fails to provide the much-needed doctors to the hospital.
