Career Guidance and free medical camp held in Chetheba

The SP Phek office in collaboration with CSU conducted a livelihood/career guidance session and free medical camp at Cheteba town hall on October 11.

SP Phek, Dr. Pritpal Kaur IPS, guided the gathering on various career options and urged to avoid drugs and other intoxicants.

She inspired the students work hard with dedication in order to build the society together, and create a more peaceful and progressive community.

Dr. Kaur also provided awareness on misuse of social media and guidelines to avoid falling prey to cybercrimes.

Various government schemes and programmes for the students were highlighted by Sahil from MGN Fellowship, District administration, who also provided insights on the benefits of SHGs, livelihood trainings and  schemes for elders.

A free medical camp was also conducted by Dr.Zasheveyi, MO PHC Chetheba.

Rev Vesrupa, Pastor Chetheba Town Baptist Church pronounced the prayer for the event. The programme was chaired by Avezo Kevin Kapu, CSU President who welcomed everyone and motivated students for hard work.

More than 250 participants attended the programme including school students,VCC and village elders.
