The Liangmai Football Club today defeated the New market Football Club with a score of 1-0, moving ahead to the Finals. The 23rd NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy is currently being held at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
On October 11, the first semi finals match was played between Liangmai FC and New Market FC where the lone and wining goal for Liangmai FC came from Lamsanggin Hangsing (27) in the 87 minute.

The Player of the Match was awarded to Lamsanggin Hangsing of Liangmai FC and the award was handed over by Kezhaleo Rülho, 1st class contractor and match patron for the first semifinal match.
The second semi final match will be held on October 12 at 5 pm between United Football Club Piphema and Red Scars Football Club. L Dikho, MLA, Government of Manipur will grace the second semi finals as the match patron.
