Residents of northern Kohima can now access a wider range of specialised dental services closer to home, with Advanced Dental Aesthetic & Implant Clinic opening a new branch at Vadeo Complex, Pezielietsie (Tinpati) Junction on Monday.
The new facility was formally opened following a dedicatory prayer by Rev Dr Wepre Mero, Pastor of Chakhesang Baptist Church Ministers’ Hill, Kohima (CBCMHK), followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Speaking at the programme, Dr Vetsolu H Koza, Cosmetic Dentist and Managing Director of Advanced Dental Aesthetic & Implant Clinic, said the new branch was established to meet the growing demand for specialised dental treatment in the northern part of Kohima town.
The branch will have four additional specialist doctors alongside the existing team, expanding the clinic’s capacity to provide comprehensive dental care under one roof.
The specialists include a Pedodontist (Pediatric Dentist) specialising in children’s dental care, preventive dentistry and habit correction; an Endodontist specialising in root canal treatment, re-RCT, pain-free single-sitting RCT and cosmetic dentistry; a Periodontist and Oral Implantologist specialising in gum diseases, scaling, gum surgery, laser therapy, dental implants, full-mouth rehabilitation and bone grafting; and an Orthodontist specialising in braces, aligners, teeth alignment and smile designing.
The clinic’s services cover several areas of specialised dental care. These include aesthetic dentistry such as veneers, smile designing, teeth whitening and ceramic crowns, as well as dental implants including immediate, single-tooth, multiple and full-mouth implants with guided surgery, ridge split and sinus lift procedures.
Orthodontic treatment available at the branch includes metal and ceramic braces and clear aligners. Pediatric services include a child-friendly clinic, fluoride treatment and space maintainers.
Endodontic services comprise microscope RCT, post and core treatment and re-treatment, while periodontal care includes laser gum treatment, flap surgery, gum contouring, microscopic plastic surgery and guided bone regeneration.

The clinic also provides digital dentistry facilities, including RVG X-ray, intraoral scanning and 3D implant planning. Painless dental procedures are supported through conscious sedation and computerised local anaesthesia administration.
According to Dr Koza, the expansion will save patients from having to travel to other parts of Kohima for advanced dental procedures.
She said the clinic has also incorporated sterilisation protocols, digital workflow and patient-comfort features aimed at ensuring safe and comfortable treatment.
“We are excited to bring advanced, ethical and affordable dental care to cater to the northern part of Kohima town. With four new specialists joining us, our goal is to provide complete dental solutions under one roof. From a child’s first dental visit to full-mouth implants for seniors, the Tinpati Junction branch is designed to serve every age group,” she said.
The Advanced Dental Aesthetic & Implant Clinic is located at Vadeo Complex, Pezielietsie (Tinpati) Junction, near the District Veterinary Hospital, Kohima. It will remain open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Saturday.
