In Tseminyu, the Nagaland Emergency Preparedness Exercise on Earthquake Disaster took place on October 31 at the Conference Hall of the DC Office in Tseminyu, informed the DIPR. The event commenced with a welcome address from the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rohit Singh, IAS, who extended his greetings to all the attendees.
DC Rohit Singh clarified the objectives of the mock exercise and emphasized the importance of earthquake disaster management. He provided a brief on the exercise and highlighted the necessity of creating awareness in this regard.
Longasen Lotha, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Tseminyu, informed all department officers of their crucial role in the awareness campaign. The program was organized by the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority, under the Home Department of the Government of Nagaland, in collaboration with the National Disaster Management Authority under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
The highlight of the day was a visual presentation covering various aspects and items related to earthquake disaster management.

Mokokchung
The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Mokokchung, today conducted the Table Top Exercise and Video Conference at ADC (Planning) Conference Hall, Mokokchung on 31st October. The mock exercise NEPEx will be conducted on November 2.
