The Office of the Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industry (K.C.C.I) has condemned the kidnapping of its member Anil Choudhary.

“These acts of kidnapping are despicable and have no place in any society. The threat of kidnapping and terrorising the members of the business community motivated by monetary greed has become a social evil,” stated the KCCI in a press statement.

The KCCI also stated that such activities should be thoroughly investigated and the perpetrators be punished as per the law.

It, therefore, urgently called upon the law enforcing agency to promptly swing into action with an all out effort to book the culprit at the earliest.

The KCCI also demanded immediate release and safety return of the abductee, and appealed to all civil organisations and public to extend its “support to the business community in its daily struggle with money mongers”.
