The Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (N)/ HQ 5 Sector Assam Rifles organised a pre Christmas celebration with Kohima Village Council and Gaon Buras of Kohima, Nagaland.

Major General Vikas Lakhera, Sena Medal, Inspector General Assam Rifles(North) and Brigadier Herjinder Singh, Deputy Inspector General, HQ 5 Sector Assam Rifles along with Hellevio Solo, Chairman, Kohima Village Council, K N Sekhose, Former President Angami Public Organisation,  and all the GaonBuras of Kohima graced the occasion with their presence.

Major General Vikas Lakhera, Sena Medal, IGAR(N) conveyed his good wishes for the Christmas to all the citizens of Kohima and celebrated the joyous occasion with full zeal and enthusiasm. Brigadier Herjinder Singh, Deputy Inspector General, HQ 5 Sector Assam Rifles also express warm wishes and goodwill to all the citizens of Kohima.
