The Mokokchung Athletics conducted an Athletic Meet for U-16 and U-14 athletes from January 9 to 10 at Fazl Ali College Campus Ground, Chuchuyimpang for the upcoming 19th National Inter District Junior Athletic Meet 2024 (NIDJAM). The Meet is to be held at Sardar Patel Sports City, Gujarat University, Navrangpura, Ahemdabad Gujarat in collaboration with Sports Authority of Gujarat from February 16 to 18.

All together 15 athletes from different Track and Field events were selected to participate from Mokokchung District. The age group was categorised into U-16 and U-14 where more than 30 athletes participated for selection trail.
