The Zunheboto district conducted the monthly District Planning & Development Board meeting at DC conference hall, Zunheboto on March 13, informed DIPR. Deputy Commissioner and vice chairman, Zunheboto DPDB, Rahul Bhanudas Mali, IAS chaired the meeting.

The house discussed on the agenda of society registration of Aiko Self Help Group at Ajiqami under VK area, a society which is meant especially for the upliftment of the women folk especially in rural areas. Upon discussion, the house agreed to send the matter to the concerned authority for registration.

With the Lok Sabha election dates are to be announced soon, the DC requested the heads of offices to be in station at all times as election is a constitutional duty. He also sought cooperation from all the departments and further added that trainings will be conducted soon.

ADC Zunheboto requested all the departments to be on high alert during the election and requested the PWD (R&B) department to make sure that all the polling parties reaches their polling stations without any problems during the monsoon and also make their machineries ready for any situations. He also added that vehicle requisition has been going on and requested everyone for their cooperation as vehicles requisitioning is required.

PWD (R&B) Atoizu and Aghunato block presented a PowerPoint presentation of various government projects undergoing and completed under Zunheboto district. New members of the house were also introduced during the meeting.
