In view of the forthcoming General Election to the Lok Sabha 2024, the District Level Standing Committee (DLSC) held its meeting for Model Code of Conduct at DC’s Conference Hall, Kohima on March 21.

At the meeting, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, Rhosietho Nguori while charging the meeting requested the DLSC members to give all out cooperation and urged the members to take the election matters seriously and strictly adhered to the Model Code of Conduct (MCC), which is a basic for conduct of free, fair and peaceful election.

He also informed the members to be ready for meetings, if need arises, for any issues that comes up in regard to the election matters.

SDO Hqs Kohima and Nodal Officer MCC, James Renbi gave a detailed PowerPoint presentation to the members regarding Mode Code of Conduct.
