The SDO (C)Sadar & Nodal Officer, Postal Ballot Kohima, Nagaland has issued a notification stating that in connection with the conduct of General Election to the Lok Sabha 2024, all personnel drafted for election duty under & Western Angami, 9 Kohima Town, 10 Nothern Angami, 11 Northern Angami, 14 Southern Angami-I and 15 Southern Angami-II Assembly segment to the Nagaland Parliamentary Constituency have been informed that Form 12-A for issuing Election Duty Certificate (EDC) will be available from the Postal Ballot Cell/Revenue Branch, 3rd Floor DC Office Kohima from March 27 onwards.

It further stated that Form 12-A should be duly filled in and should be enclosed with a copy of Election Duty Detailment/Requisition Order, and EPIC. Submission of Form 12-A should be done by April 5.
The DEO also mentioned that personnel drafted for Election Duty includes Sector Magistrates, Sector Commanders, Micro Observers, Staff of various Cells managing the election, drivers & cleaners etc. For Polling Personnel such as Presiding Officers, Polling Officers, Grade IV staff, accompanying the polling team, Form 12-A will be issued in the training venue.
