In preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, polling personnel in Dimapur have been informed about the establishment of EVM/VVPAT Facilitation Centre at the DB Court within the Deputy Commissioner’s Office premises, informed DIPR. The Centre will be operational from April 9 to 17.

Polling officials have been encouraged to visit the Centre during this period to address any doubts or queries they may have regarding polling day procedures, forms, and other related matters, informed DIPR. Hands-on training will be provided by designated DLMTs/ALMTs who will be in charge on a roster basis.

16^th April 2024: Mordecrai Chase, Mongyung Phom & Ngutoli Y. Chase.Swu

17^th April 2024: T. Zangthungo Ngullie & Lhipe Naro

Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Dimapur, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang, NCS informed of this training and facilitation centre and urged the polling personnel to take advantage of this opportunity to enhance their understanding and proficiency in handling EVMs and VVPAT machines.
