Former Naga People’s Front (NPF) candidate from 7 Peren Assembly Constituency Kingudi Joseph and 15 other NPF members tendered their resignations from the party on Friday and pledged support to the candidature of INC Candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, S Supongmeren Jamir.

“Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee welcomes them into the Congress family with gratitude and acknowledges their sacrifice in the fight for the Soul of India,” NPCC stated in a press release.
