The Deputy Commissioner Phek, John Tsulise Sangtam, NCS in an order dated April 13 has stated that, due to earth cutting for construction of houses along the proposed 2-Lane road (NH-702A) from Chozuba to Phek and from Losami junction to Meluri, smooth traffic movement is being obstructed due to mudslide/dumping along the road. Therefore, all concerned have been directed to immediately cease construction/earth cutting and further remove all debris along the aforementioned road.

Further, he informed that, if any vehicles on polling duty are held up due to the negligence of certain groups/individuals by failing to comply with this order the concerned party shall be held fully responsible and action shall be initiated.
